ABSTRACT FASHION

ORIGAMI
This is an abstract fashion project to find alternative ways to traditional
patternmaking and body-following shapes.
Influenced by the revolutionary abstract artist Kazimir Malevich and his iconic painting
„The Black Square”,painted in 1915 that was considered as a sign of a dawn of the new age.
Guided by the astonishing architect Zaha Hadid and learning to visualise the unknown.
Practising the techniques of a Japanese designer Yeohlee Teng to become maximally efective.
Blurring the boundaries between fashion and performance art - thinking like Hussein Chalayan.
The form was created through ORIGAMI -
the art of paper folding.
